Join Our Contaminated Land Team based in Brisbane
We’re looking for a Principal Contaminated Land Specialist to join our QLD team (based out of Brisbane). You’ll take the lead on contaminated land investigations, site remediation, and environmental risk strategy — working closely with contaminated land auditors and interfacing with the national CLM team.
What You’ll Be Doing
Work toward shared goals and contribute to the team’s strategic objectives by helping deliver a diverse and growing portfolio of contaminated land projects.
Offer technical guidance and hare expertise and provide oversight on complex investigations, ensuring robust, high-quality outcomes.
Support professional growth – Encourage and guide colleagues at all levels, fostering a culture of shared learning and technical confidence.
Collaborate with stakeholders by building positive relationships with clients, auditors, regulators, and internal teams through clear, open communication.
Add value to business development by contributing to proposal preparation and support initiatives that help expand our capabilities and client base.
What You’ll Need
- Industry certifications (CEnvP-SC, CPSS-CSAM) are preferred or desire to obtain (with support)
- 15-20+ years of experience in contaminated land consulting in Australia
- Strong working knowledge of QLD and national legislation (EP Act, NEPM)
- Excellent writing, reporting and client communication skills
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach to complex sites
- Desire to lead, mentor, and grow your technical influence in the wider industry
