We are on the lookout for a dedicated individual to develop, implement, sustain and improve effective production strategies and procedures in order to ensure smooth operations, thereby facilitating the organization to meet customer expectations in an effective and timely manner whilst, achieving set objectives and key performance parametersKey Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the development of the organization’s strategy and provide advice and guidance to respective departments on aspects related to the factory and production whilst, developing and implementing targets and objectives and contributing to other areas as and when needed
- Set, monitor and control the budget, whilst monitoring and reviewing same taking into account absenteeism and efficiency levels, working with the team to ensure budgets are achieved whilst, providing advise as and when the needed arises
- Oversee the operations of the factory and ensure production quantities are delivered in a timely manner as per the agreed style, color, size of the production plan whilst, conforming to required quality standards in order to meet customer delivery dates and expectations
- Review factory performance, identify issues whilst, discussing with the team for possible solutions and continuously working towards improving systems, processes and standards in order to achieve the most optimum factory environment that will serve to meet the objectives set by the organization whilst, fulfilling customer expectations
- Liaise and work with all relevant departments, following customer trends, plan resources to meet challenges whilst, providing management information for decision making purposes
- Liaise with Human Resources to ensure training and development needs of all employees are identified, suitable development interventions devised (including structure, contents and sourcing), implemented and monitored in order to ensure the capabilities of all employees are developed in line with current and future organizational requirements
- Develop and implement procedures to build, maintain and enhance good relations with factory staff and the sewing machine operators, handle all employee grievances and issues in a timely and effective manner thereby, ensuring a harmonious work environment
Knowledge and Skills:
- Degree in Textile Engineering
- 4 - 5 years of relevant work experience at a similar capacity
- Knowledge on garment manufacturing process
- Knowledge on sewing machine on technical aspect
- Knowledge of Sewing Techniques and Production Operations
- Knowledge of local Labor Laws and Regulations
- Good IT Literacy skills
- Good Interpersonal skills
