Job Title: Fabric Cutting Operator
Location: Manitowoc
Job Type: Full-Time
Department: Systems Department
Shift Hours: 6am – 2pm Monday through Friday with occasional overtime
Salary: $20.00 an hour
About the Role: We’re seeking a detail-oriented and safety-focused Production Tech II – Fabric Cutting Operator to join our Systems department in Manitowoc. In this hands-on role, you’ll be responsible for executing precise fabric cutting operations, supporting production needs, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Cut fabric according to specifications and schedules
• Maintain accurate inventory of materials
• Organize and manage production orders
• Operate equipment safely and efficiently
• Ensure quality standards and timely task completion
• Assist with general production tasks as needed
• Suggest ideas to enhance efficiency and quality
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Report unsafe conditions or equipment

What You’ll Bring
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior manufacturing experience required
• Forklift certification preferred
• Strong product knowledge and decision-making skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Consistent attendance and ability to train others
Working Conditions
• Work in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing facility
• Exposure to loud noise and moving mechanical parts
• Physical demands include standing, walking, lifting (up to 50 lbs), and operating machinery
• Overtime may be required to meet customer demands
