About the position:
As the Senior Operations Business Partner, you are a proactive and hands-on leader who serves as a trusted advisor to our Asia Pacific & Japan (APJ) Region. You will be responsible for partnering with the Services leadership team, building strong relationships with other functional departments to influence decisions, driving process optimization and improving overall business process effectiveness. Ultimately, you will help drive business transformation and operational excellence, while aligning our services strategies to our company’s objectives.

A key focus will be assisting support of the financial health of the APJ region in partnership with Finance and the Americas business leader - understanding project financials, operational movements and how they impact financials, and balancing overall revenue and expense levers.

Key responsibilities:
• Grow to be a trusted advisor and partner to the business with credibility and influence, focused on execution, and assisting with strategy as required.
• Provide guidance and suggestions for insights and business transformation.
• Simplify and optimize reports/dashboards or related infrastructure – make consumption of reports/dashboards accessible and relevant for senior leaders.
• Identify areas of risk or opportunity by conducting detailed analysis of forecast, pipeline and trending data, with ability to translate quantitative data into actionable recommendations.
• Help develop and implement best practices in forecasting processes, including coaching leaders, while and staying closely aligned with the Global Services business.
• Identify opportunities to improve effectiveness. Coordinate cross-functionally to deliver process improvements, playbooks, toolkits, and skills development. Partner with colleagues across Services, Marketing, HR, IT and Finance to drive cross-functional improvements.
• Provide proactive, data-driven insights and recommendations on pipeline, projects, and forecasting.
• Offer input into services compensation and incentive programs aligned with business goals.
• Create leader-ready decks, with accurate data and relevant insights.
• Support strategic projects, as required.
Qualifications:
• Strong executive presence and communication skills, and an ability to lead through influence and credibility across an organization.
• Solid ability to act independently and with minimal direction.
• Ability to manage different stakeholders holding different agendas.
• Understanding of the services forecast process with the ability to translate that knowledge to the Services management teams.
• Excellent analytical skills combined with strong problem solving and organization skills, and a high attention to detail.
• Solid business acumen and judgement
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Experience/Education Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Business-related discipline
• 3+ years of relevant experience in Services, Services operations, Finance or Management consulting.
• At least 3 years of experience in the software industry and cloud platform businesses.
• Dayforce domain experience required.
• Knowledge of Service organizations.
• Salesforce.com reporting and analytics experience required.
• Experience with PowerBI or Tableau, or other data visualization tool an asset.
• Reporting and analytics experience required
