25-10492 Mental Health Worker ITRS- Counseling and Support Clinic

Responsibilities:  Under the supervision of the Coordinator of the Counseling and Support Clinic, provides a wide range of para-professional behavioral health services to consumers within the Integrated Treatment and Recovery Services (ITSRS) Program. Duties include a variety of supportive services and direct interventions with consumers in accordance with treatment plans developed by professional personnel. Responsible for carrying out all activities of the program/sub-unit in such a manner that fulfills CMH’s mission, policies and procedures. Requirements:  Possession of high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalency required. A minimum of six (6) months experience working with persons with behavioral health conditions is required. Access to reliable means of transportation for job related use required. Must be able to communicate accurately and effectively in verbal and written form. May be required to pass a physical exam annually. Possession of a valid Michigan driver’s license. Must be able to work independently.

Conditional Employment Requirements: Employment offers for this position will be contingent upon the results of a Michigan State Police clearance check, pass a Central Registry Screening and, verification of an acceptable Michigan driving record. Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen and pre-employment physical.

Salary/Hours: $20.21 - $21.81 per hour.  40 hours, traditional business hours. Monday through Friday.
