The EMT Paramedic is responsible for the delivery of quality care for ill or injured patients under varied conditions in collaboration with department specific personnel. The paramedic must be highly motivated and able to function using assessment skills and written standards as defined by departmental policy. Must also be able to participate in Departmental committees, public relations, and outreach education.

This is an onsite position, requiring daily attendance at the designated location.
Candidates must reside within commutable distance of the following office location:
- Texas: Lubbock
Flexibility to work a day, evening or night shift as scheduled
Must be available to work weekends and holidays as scheduled, based on operational and departmental requirements.

Required Qualifications:

Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement
Upon Hire: Texas Emergency Medical Technician Paramedic License - Texas Office of EMS-Trauma Systems -OR- Texas Paramedic License - Texas Office of EMS-Trauma Systems
Upon Hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
Upon Hire: National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association
Upon Hire: National Provider PALS - American Heart Association
1 or more years of experience working in a healthcare setting

Preferred Qualifications:

1 or more years of experience working in a Covenant Ambulance: experience in emergency medical services.

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
