We are looking for you to join our team as an Electronic Technician 2 based out of Apopka, FL

The selected candidate will perform routine technical functions related to the support of development engineering activities such as design, test, checkout, fabrication, modification, and assembly of electronics and Electro-mechanical systems, experimental design circuitry, prototype models, or specialized test equipment.

What You’ll Get to Do:

  • Analog, digital, and/or video-type circuits and logic systems.
  • Works from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts, or defined plans.
  • Perform routine testing, checkout, troubleshooting, prototype building, and environmental testing, and simple developmental engineering tasks.
  • Performs routine operational tests and fault isolation on development systems and equipment.
  • Ensure conformance with design specifications.
  • Diagnose and isolate malfunctions down to the component level. Conducts defined engineering. tests and collects data assigned.
  • Work in assigned areas such as development, engineering, or test equipment design.
  • Excludes those assigned to production test activities.

Basic Qualifications for Electronic Technician 2:

  • High School Graduate and 2 years of related experience.
  • Experience with environmental stress screening of electronic hardware (vibration, thermal).
  • Experience utilizing diagnostic equipment, including oscilloscope and signal generators.
  • U.S. Citizen

Preferred Qualifications for Electronic Technician 2:

  • Electronics training equivalent to 2 years of technical trade school or military technical school
  • RF Test experience
  • Experience with Component-level troubleshooting
  • Experience with VOM, DVM, and similar test apparatus.
  • Experience with SAP

MANUMS

Primary Level Salary Range: $47,000.00 - $78,300.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
