Under the general direction of a manager, the Executive IT Support Engineer, End User Computing is a highly visible and service-driven role responsible for providing premium, high-touch IT support to executive leadership and their assistants. The incumbent will proactively manage technology needs for executives and their support teams by delivering personalized, timely, and professional support both onsite and remotely. This role will be physically embedded with Executive Assistants and will remain available outside standard hours to support leadership requests and offsite events.

The role combines deep technical expertise with exceptional customer service and discretion, ensuring that all technology touchpoints for executive leadership are seamless, responsive, and aligned with the high standards of performance expected at the senior-most levels of the organization.

Executive Technology Support

  • Provide tailored, timely, and discreet support to executives and their assistants across all devices and platforms.

  • Partner daily with Executive Assistants to anticipate and proactively resolve issues before they impact productivity.

  • Deliver expert-level troubleshooting for hardware, software, network, and AV systems.

  • Provide after-hours and weekend support as needed, including high-profile events and offsite engagements.

  • Travel as necessary to support leadership during offsite meetings and summits.

Collaboration & Relationship Management

  • Serve as the primary IT liaison to executive leadership and their assistants.

  • Communicate executive feedback and technology priorities to relevant IT teams to drive action and improvement.

  • Maintain a professional, trustworthy presence in all interactions with the executive leadership and assistants.

Operations & Documentation

  • Maintain accurate records in ServiceNow for inventory, changes, and requests from executive leadership and their assistants.

  • Oversee lease exchanges, equipment updates, and the full lifecycle of IT assets used by executives and their assistants.

  • Develop and maintain up-to-date documentation for installation, maintenance, and configuration activities.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or a Bachelor of Arts degree in a related technical field.

  • 5+ years of work experience with computer hardware or software.

  • Or any equivalent combination of experience and training/certification in software, hardware, and technology applications.

  • Extensive experience with Microsoft Windows 10/11 OS, Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace.

  • Extensive experience with macOS.

  • Experience with Microsoft Active Directory (AD) concepts and management practices; experience with Azure AD is a plus.

  • Proficiency in workstation image creation and deployment.

  • Strong knowledge of diagnostic utilities (e.g., Lenovo diagnostic tools, Apple Diagnostics, HP printer tools).

  • Expert troubleshooting skills, including network and AV systems.

  • Exceptional client service skills, specifically in supporting high-level executives, including both written and oral communication.

  • Ability to work quickly and professionally in a fast-moving, sometimes stressful environment.

  • Proven accountability for work completion, documentation, and timeliness.
