ManTech seeks a motivated, career customer-oriented Engineering Technician to join our team in Panama City, FL. This is an onsite position.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Assembling or installing equipment or parts requiring simple wiring, soldering, or connecting
Performs such tasks as replacing components and wiring circuits
Repairing simple electrical/electronic equipment
Taking test readings using common instruments such as digital multi-meters and signal generators
Performs assignments that are not completely standardized or prescribed
Selects or adapts standard procedures or equipment, using fully applicable precedents
Receives initial instructions, equipment requirements, and advice from supervisor or engineer as needed
Troubleshoots and corrects electrical malfunctions

Minimum Qualifications:

High School Diploma
3+ years of experience in using a variety of hand tools and precision measuring instruments such as: Torque Wrench, Feeler Gauge, Micrometer, etc
3+ years of experience assembling or installing equipment or parts requiring simple wiring, soldering, or connecting

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with components and wiring circuits and repairing simple electrical/electronic equipment
Proficient written communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, analytical, mathematical, and organizational skills

Clearance Requirements:

U.S. Citizenship required and a current and active Secret security clearance or ability to obtain an Interim Secret before starting.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift and carry 50 Lbs.
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
Climb and descend ladders.
