Job Title: Production Supervisor
Reports to: Operations Manager
Role Overview
The Production Supervisor is responsible for leading production personnel, ensuring efficient workflow, maintaining regulatory compliance, and optimising the use of resources within a Part 145 facility. This role ensures quality repairs, safety, and timely delivery while upholding company values and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
The role requires a commitment to continuous learning, professional development, and upskilling, as necessary, to adapt to evolving regulatory, technological, and operational needs.
Furthermore, the Supervisor must work collaboratively across departments to enhance efficiency, resolve operational challenges, and contribute to the overall success of the company.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Production Oversight & Workflow Management
- Supervise production personnel, ensuring all repairs are conducted per operational and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor metrics in conjunction with SAMenu reporting, focusing on Utilization, productivity and efficiency.
2. Quality & Compliance
- Ensure all tasks meet required quality, workmanship, and regulatory standards (Part 145, EASA, FAA, IAA, NADCAP).
3. Safety & Workplace Environment
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment in accordance with company and customer safety protocols.
- Ensure proper PPE usage and adherence to health and safety regulations.
- Report all near-misses and accidents in a timely manner and implement corrective measures.
4. Leadership & People Management
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the production team to achieve performance goals.
- Ensure all personnel are trained, qualified, and continually upskilled by collaborating with the Training Department.
- Conduct effective shift handovers and workforce planning to align with scheduled work.
- Initiate, document, and carry out disciplinary actions in collaboration with HR, promoting accountability and a consistent approach to workplace standards.
5. Continuous Improvement, Collaboration & Professional Development
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives as required.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams and departments.

Skills & Competencies:
- Strong leadership and team management skills – ability to inspire, coach, and develop production staff.
- Problem-solving & decision-making ability – skilled at responding to unexpected challenges calmly and diplomatically.
- Excellent organizational and planning skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong ability to work across departments, fostering collaboration and alignment with company objectives.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and willingness to undertake further training or qualifications as required.
- Enthusiastic and resilient, persevering in the face of challenges and setbacks while maintaining a positive, solutions-driven approach.
Experience & Qualifications:
- People management
- Demonstrated experience in production environment
- Strong understanding of quality systems and regulatory requirements (Part 145, ISO9000, EASA, FAA, IAA, NADCAP).
- Experience in workforce planning, process optimization and compliance auditing.
