Mayo Clinic in Arizona’s Department of Surgery provides quality care for complex, serious, and rare conditions. Our NP and PA staff work collaboratively with our surgeons in a team-based model. The Inpatient NA/PA staff will provide postoperative care for these complex surgical patients primarily in the inpatient setting, see new consults during the day, and may, on occasion, step in as first assist in the OR.

  • Sees new patient consults from other services or the emergency room.
  • May spend some time in the operating room as First Assist in surgery, as needed.
  • Robotic training preferred but not required.
