TRIA is looking to hire an RN (Pre, post, PACU) to join our surgery center team! Come join us as a Partner for Good and help us make an impact on the care and experience that our patients and their families receive every day.
Position Summary:
The Registered Nurse (RN) provides direct patient care in ambulatory settings. Patient care may be a direct activity of the RN, or it may be to coordinate and supervise patient care provided by assistive personnel. Utilizes a systematic approach to nursing practice incorporating assessment, planning, nursing diagnosis, implementation, and evaluation in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act, recognized professional standards and Park Nicollet Health Services policy. Previous experience preferred in the designated area.
Work Schedule:
.60 FTE, M-F, varying day shifts. No weekends, nights or holidays.
Required Qualifications:
- Education, Experience or Equivalent Combination:
- BSN / Baccalaureate degree in nursing
- Licensure/ Registration/ Certification:
- Valid Minnesota Registered Nurse License
- BLS provider status in accordance with American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross guidelines.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven proficiency in the operation of the following: Personal Computer, Telephone, Fax Machine, Photocopier, Printer, and electronic medical record.
- This position requires familiarity and compliance with matters of law, regulations and internal policies affecting the employment relationship, (including but not limited to FMLA, ADA, discrimination, and harassment laws).
- Demonstrates knowledge of age-related growth and development principles necessary to provide appropriate service and assure safety of patients.
