Oracle Business Systems Lead

Job Summary

The Oracle Business Systems Lead – Finance is responsible for the strategic oversight, administration, and continuous improvement of Oracle ERP Cloud financial modules, including but not limited to General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, and Procurement. This role bridges functional finance needs with Oracle system capabilities, leading cross-functional teams in developing, implementing, and optimizing business processes, system configurations, and integrations with other enterprise systems.

SALARY RANGE: $132,620.80 - $168,792.00 annually

Representative Duties

• Lead the support and enhancement of Oracle Cloud ERP Finance modules.
• Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for all Oracle Finance functionalities.
• Collaborate with Finance, IT, and external vendors to identify system improvements and resolve complex business or technical issues.
• Translate financial business requirements into Oracle ERP solutions and coordinate design, testing, and deployment activities.
• Develop and maintain detailed documentation, including business requirements, process flows, system configuration, test cases, and training materials.
• Manage system upgrades, patches, and new module implementations in collaboration with Oracle and internal stakeholders.
• Lead the resolution of issues related to financial transactions, reporting discrepancies, and workflow configurations.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting and user support for financial modules and processes.
• Ensure compliance with internal control policies, data security standards, and audit requirements.
• Deliver training and mentoring to end users and support teams to enhance system utilization and efficiency.
• Serves as back up for higher level employees when needed.

Performs other duties as needed, including those performed by subordinate fiscal, financial, and/or clerical staff.

Minimum Education And Experience Requirements

Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field. 5+ years of experience working with Oracle E-Business Suite or Oracle Cloud ERP, with a strong focus on financial modules.

Certification, License And Special Requirements

• Oracle Cloud Financials Certification.

Physical Demands

The work is sedentary and requires exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects; may also require crouching, manual dexterity, hearing, kneeling, lifting, pulling, pushing, reaching, repetitive motion, speaking, standing, stooping, talking, visual acuity, and walking.

Work Environment

Work is performed in performed in a dynamic environment that requires incumbent to be sensitive to change and responsive to changing goals, priorities, and needs. Hybrid or on-site as required.

Must be able to occasionally work after hours during system upgrades or critical issue resolution.
