Position: Poker Supervisor  

Location: Milton Keynes Casino

Hours Per Week: 40

Pay Rate: £12.87 per hour

The poker supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the poker area on a day to day basis, ensuring that the games are run in a fair manner, ensuring that dealers are performing to the required standard and providing excellent customer service to all guests.

About you:

We are looking for

• Must possess a Personal Functional License (Gambling).
• Strong knowledge of poker.
• At least one years’ experience in a supervisory role or other relevant experience.
• Ability to provide training and support for dealing poker.
• Being flexible and able to work a variety of shifts including night shifts and weekends.
• Ideally candidates will live in Milton Keynes

Duties include but not limited to:

• Setting up the poker area on a daily basis.
• Ensuring that poker cards and other equipment is accounted for.
• Observing the games to ensure the dealers are following correct procedures.
• Resolving customer disputes in relation to the poker area.
• Communicating with the pit boss regarding customers approaching threshold/SG/AML levels.
• To promote the company in a professional and positive manner with both internal and external contacts or at any other opportunity.
• To adhere to all company health and safety practices and procedures. In the event of health and safety issues arising, ensure appropriate action is taken.
• To attend and meetings as and when required.
• To respond positively, promptly and appropriately to all internal and external customer requests.
• Responsible for understanding and ensuring compliance with internal Responsible Gambling policies and UK Gambling Commission Licence Codes of Conduct and Practice (LCCP
• Ensuring Responsible Gambling is an integral part of the daily operation. To actively participate and support the annual National Responsible Gambling Week.
• To be proactive in safeguarding our customers and the business by ensuring that standards of compliance both internally and externally are delivered to the highest level and opportunities to improve are identified to support the business objectives.

In keeping with accepted principles of good Company practice, you may be required to undertake additional or alternative duties related to your position as directed from time to time by your Line Manager.
