Overview of the Merchandise Analyst role
The eCommerce team is responsible for delivering a superior site experience for the customer, using data and customer insights to deliver easy, inspiring product discovery and helpful, intuitive, content-rich product pages.
You will have the opportunity to collaborate closely with cross-functional partners to deliver a seamless, friction-free, shopping experience online.
Responsibilities
Perform Seasonal and Ad-hoc product data set-up, UAT + Maintenance
Manage Related Product setup and Group-to-Category setup
Update SKU attributes, fabric description and category thumbnail post seasonal builds
Perform daily and weekly site maintenance activities including removing out of stock items, relaunching back in stock items, removing no go-forward SKUs, maintaining rollover SKUs
In charge of the promo process (including upload of pricing files, Alert & PIP Thumbnail messaging, etc.)
Update SEO Copy when required
Resolve/fix PIP (Product Information Page) issues raised by merchants and stores
Continual review of sites conducting PIP and site scrubs to ensure a seamless and accurate shopping experience
Support Franchise and Wholesale Partners’ seasonal product data set-up through the provision of web data and images
Support ad-hoc projects as assigned
Work across multiple platforms including Netsuite, Airtable, Curalate, SearchSpring and Barilliance
Build and maintain relationships based on thorough planning, timely and professional communications, and intelligent problem-solving with internal partners, and cross-functional resources.
Criteria
Min tertiary qualification and 2 years of e-commerce or related experience (candidates with less experience can be considered for the Specialist position)
Ability to make timely decisions, anticipate problems, and provide creative solutions
Strong affinity for the brands and products
Proven analytical, business planning, and organizational skills
Ability to deal with ambiguity and a changing environment
Experience working in a global business and across multiple time zones
Strong attention to detail
Intermediate Excel skills (working knowledge with pivot tables and v-lookups)
