About the team
The HR Operations team endeavors to continuously build and deliver a seamless and positive employee experience across the whole employee lifecycle. We are dedicated to leading with care and have empathy in mind. We strive to develop efficient and simple people processes, systems, policies, and programs. We aspire to ensure employees feel heard and that they are given the appropriate resources and support needed to be effective and efficient during their careers.
Role Overview:
As an ER Investigations Case Triage Specialist within our investigation team, you will be the central point of contact for all reports and inquiries relating to Bullying, Harassment, Discrimination, and Retaliation (BHDR). Operating in a fast-paced, dynamic tech environment, you will be responsible for quickly assessing the nature and severity of complex claims to ensure that investigations are initiated where appropriate. Your work will help maintain a respectful, safe, and inclusive workplace culture that aligns with our company's values and legal obligations.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the initial and ongoing point of contact for all BHDR-related investigation requests coming from diverse sources including employee reports, HR ireferrals, and anonymous channels;
- Proactively monitor the regional case management tool and promptly triage incoming cases, prioritizing based on urgency, complexity, and potential impact on the workplace environment;
- Where required, perform detailed intake assessments to gather relevant information, evaluate the credibility and seriousness of each claim, and determine whether the matter requires further investigation;
- Apply global triage standards, adjusting for any country-specific legal or cultural nuances, to ensure consistent and fair handling of all cases;
- Clearly define the scope and parameters of investigations, documenting key case details and interview summaries, then collaborate closely with investigators to facilitate smooth handover and ongoing case management;
- Manage cases that do not meet the threshold for investigation by closing them appropriately according to company policies and global guidelines;
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with cross-functional partners such as HR Business Partners, Employee Relations, Employment Legal, and investigators to ensure coordinated responses and consistent communication;
- Maintain meticulous and accurate records in the case management system, ensuring all data fields and case notes are up to date and compliant with data privacy standards;
- Stay informed on evolving employment laws, regulations, and best practices to guide the assessment and prioritization of cases effectively;
- Support the broader investigation team by participating in ad hoc projects and process improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing the investigative function and employee experience.
