Painter - Facilities Engineering - FULL TIME VARIED Vineland

MAJOR FUNCTION:

The Maintenance Painter is responsible for ensuring the aesthetic integrity and cleanliness of the hospital environment by performing skilled painting and finishing work across the facility. This includes preparing, painting, and maintaining a variety of surfaces such as walls, ceilings, doors, and floors in patient care areas, administrative offices, corridors, and mechanical spaces. The position requires adherence to strict infection control protocols, safety standards, and hospital guidelines to ensure that all painted areas meet the high standards necessary for a healthcare environment. The Maintenance Painter plays a vital role in supporting the hospital's mission to provide a safe, hygienic, and professional atmosphere that promotes the well-being of patients, staff, and visitors.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education & Experience: 

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional painting experience; experience in a healthcare or institutional setting is preferred.
• Proficient in surface preparation, painting techniques, and coating systems.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and safe handling of paints and solvents.
• Basic understanding of infection control and safety protocols specific to healthcare environments

Certification/Licensure:    

•  Valid driver’s license required to operate any Inspira owned vehicles. Must adhere to Inspira’s Fleet Policy requirements prior to hire.
