We are looking to recruit a pool of Visiting Lecturers to be available to provide assistance on our popular Undergraduate and Postgraduate programmes across the College of Law, Social and Criminal Justice.
Visiting Lecturers required in the following areas*:
- Law
- Criminology
- Sociology
- Policing
- Youth Work
- Black Studies
*Please indicate your preference where requested on the application form.
The ideal candidate will have previous Higher Education teaching, assessment and marking experience, delivering pastoral and academic support. You should have a strong subject knowledge within the broad disciplinary field. You will be working as part of a team, you will deliver seminars, workshops and tutorials across subjects.

Visiting Lecturer posts are paid hourly and there are a range of pay rates dependant on the role. As and when relevant teaching hours become available that your CV and experience are suitable for, you will be contacted by the Faculty directly to discuss in more detail. Please be aware that you are not guaranteed to hear back from the Faculty.
