ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a highly skilled and trend-savvy Senior Textile Designer to join our Cotton On Body team in a flexible 4-day-a-week position. In this leadership role, you will bring creative vision, commercial acumen, and technical expertise to deliver textile designs that our customers love and that push the boundaries of innovation. You’ll lead the design development process from concept to final artwork, ensuring all designs align with our brand DNA and seasonal direction.
Partnering closely with cross-functional teams, you will interpret trend insights, create original and commercially viable designs, and mentor junior designers to elevate the overall creative output. Your ability to anticipate market shifts, balance creativity with business objectives, and deliver designs that excite and inspire will be key to your success. SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

•    Relevant degree or qualification in a related field, e.g., Textile Design, Graphic Design, Fashion Design.
•    Extensive experience in textile design, ideally within activewear, intimates, or lifestyle categories.
•    Proven ability to lead the design process from concept to delivery, balancing creativity with commercial needs.
•    Expertise in identifying and interpreting emerging fashion and lifestyle trends into innovative, brand-right designs.
•    Advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and MS Excel.
•    Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities to guide and inspire junior designers.
•    Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams.
•    Exceptional organisation, planning, and problem-solving skills in a deadline-driven environment.
