The Impact You Will Make
The Senior FP&A Analyst is responsible for delivering accurate financial analysis and pricing strategy support. This includes developing financial templates, analyzing performance trends, preparing metrics, and maintaining pricing documentation. The role also supports budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning while collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive data-informed decisions and operational excellence.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain and develop standard templates for Senior Management and accounting, including a full set of basic financial statements.
- Support the short and long-term strategic business planning process.
- Evaluate company financial and operational performance through routine analytical reviews of financial results, budgets, and forecasts, including monthly and quarterly variance analysis.
- Develop and deliver value-add financial and operational metrics to communicate business unit and divisional performance trends.
- Propose key actions and strategic implications based on performance trends and appropriate metrics.
- Assist business unit and divisional operations with the annual budgeting and rolling forecast processes.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product teams to develop and implement pricing strategies based on market trends, cost structures, and customer insights.
- Analyze pricing and sales data to uncover trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement, ensuring pricing documentation is maintained and updated for consistency and transparency.
- Extract data from IT systems to support accounting and finance needs, both ad hoc and on an ongoing basis.
- Perform other finance and accounting-related projects as assigned.
Requirements
- BS Degree in Accounting or Finance.
- CPA preferred.
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in an accounting, audit, or FP&A capacity
- Knowledge of US GAAP requirements.
- Public accounting experience preferred.
- Ability to maintain a high level of discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
- Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to interpret complex data and identify trends.
- Knowledge of pricing strategies, market analysis, and cost structures.
- Advanced MS Excel Skills
- Comfortable working independently and with minimal supervision.
