  • Be part of the business decision-making process and lead corresponding actions that are relevant to the business, understanding the needs of the internal client, ensuring the cost, quality and quantity of resources required in the projects in which Procurement is involved. 
  • Conduct the procurement process to meet the operational and administrative expectations/needs.  
  • Negotiate with suppliers of services and materials in accordance with the processes and procedures.  
  • Carry out the analyses of supplier’s qualification process under his/her responsibility in accordance with the Vendor Management Program. 
  • Ensure that internal demands, related to Procurement, are tended within the established standards of cost, timeline and quality of products and services. 
  • Develop new suppliers and better negotiation for the company. 
  • Manage contracts of the categories under his/her responsibility. 
  • Develop, align, implement, and monitor strategic negotiations. 
  • Keep supplier’s database up to date for the categories under his/her responsibility. 
  • Interface with other stakeholders to implement best practices and consistency between the markets (regionally and internationally). 
  • Conduct the procurement process to meet the operational and administrative expectations/needs. 
  • Analyze and make improvement suggestions to gain efficiency or capture savings. 
  • Analysis and monitoring of indicators of Procurement area. 
  • Analysis and monitoring of market movement, trends and indicators. 
  • Support the supplier evaluation process, 3rd Party documentation management, and the supplier financial, sustainability and risk analysis in accordance with the Procurement Policy for the categories and suppliers under his/her responsibility. 
  • Support the internal and external audits process. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering or other area related to the business. 
  • Master BA in Business Administration, Finance or Procurement is desirable. 
  • At least 5+ years’ experience in Supply Chain and/or Procurement area. 
  • Prior experience in Procurement or Supply Chain, preferably companies in the Telecom, Construction or Civil Engineering segment.  
  • Advanced oral and written communication skills in English and Spanish are required.
