Brooks Rehabilitation in Jacksonville Florida is seeking an experienced, full-time Physiatrist to join a highly skilled team of physicians with specialization in SCI. 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Comprehensive SCI unit rehabilitation management with the possibly for outpatient clinic activities
  • Consulting role on SCI patients at adjoining Acute Care Trauma Service Unit
  • Research involvement opportunity in patients with SCI related disorders
  • Teaching opportunity with medical students and residents in support of a newly accredited PM&R Residency Program in collaboration with Mayo Clinic 

Job Qualifications: 

  • Board-Certified/Eligible in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation
  • SCI fellowship preferred
  • Florida Licensure/Eligibility required
  • Interest in teaching residents and medical students
  • Provide excellent clinic care for all rehabilitation populations
  • Provide care that is compassionate, appropriate, and promotes heathy outcomes
  • Utilize effective communication skills at all levels to enhance team functioning, patient care coordination, and leadership
