Research Assistant II, S2

Purpose of the Position:

• The Research Assistant II will provide support to the Research Institute affiliated lab
• Duties/Responsibilities
• • Perform research and contracted efforts with relevant engineering hardware, software, and manufacturing tools
• • Support the assembly, operation and maintenance of specialized
• research equipment
• • Work testing, inventory management and environmental tasks as assigned
• •.Responsible to assisting with technical and progress reports / summaries
• as required by contracted efforts
• • Assist with management of CubeSat subsystem teams
• • Collaborate with other bus subsystems and integration personnel and management as needed
• • Communicate subsystem trades to other subsystems, management, and customer(s)

Minimum Requirements:

• • College coursework preferably in Science, Engineering, Physics, or Business with 1+ years full time work experience.
• • Must have moderate technical knowledge
• • Must have excellent written and oral communication skills
• • US Citizenship is required

Desired Qualifications:

• Some engineering coursework is preferred.
