Research Assistant II, S2

Purpose of the Position:

The Research Assistant II will provide support to the Research Institute affiliated lab

Duties/Responsibilities
• Perform research and contracted efforts with relevant engineering hardware, software, and manufacturing tools
• Support the assembly, operation and maintenance of specialized
research equipment
• Work testing, inventory management and environmental tasks as assigned
•.Responsible to assisting with technical and progress reports / summaries
as required by contracted efforts
• Assist with management of CubeSat subsystem teams
• Collaborate with other bus subsystems and integration personnel and management as needed
• Communicate subsystem trades to other subsystems, management, and customer(s)

Minimum Requirements:

• College coursework preferably in Science, Engineering, Physics, or Business with 1+ years full time work experience.
• Must have moderate technical knowledge
• Must have excellent written and oral communication skills
• US Citizenship is required

Desired Qualifications:

• Some engineering coursework is preferred.
