Description

Texas Wood Supply is looking for a well-rounded Accounting Clerk who has experience in general bookkeeping, accounts payable, and accounts receivables. Duties include supporting the accounting director and accounts payable clerk, plus reconciliations. On the job training for current accounting software will be provided.


Responsibilities:

  • General Data Entry
  • AP(Accounts Payable) Invoice Processing
  • Posting Sales and AR (Accounts Receivable)deposits 
  • Preparing and maintaining records
  • Creating and maintaining spreadsheets through Google Sheets
  • Operating data terminals, calculators, and other standard office equipment
  • Performing clerical work and interoffice support, including receiving and processing mail
  • Assist with accounts receivable statements.
  • Assist with bank reconciliations
  • Assist with accounts payable entries
  • Maintaining and promoting excellent vendor relations
  • Assembling, sorting, and filing data
  • Run company errands as needed 
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Type:

Full Time


Schedule:

Monday-Friday 

8 a.m. - 5 p.m.


Compensation:

$13.50-$15 hourly

Requirements

  • Excellent and strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • High level of accuracy in bookkeeping and general accounting
  • Understanding of basic general ledger accounts
  • Excellent and strong computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, Adobe, Google Docs and Spreadsheets
  • Excellent and strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize and manage tasks to meet deadlines and expectations with minimal supervision.
  • Display a positive attitude and professional demeanor with staff, vendors and clients.

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma
  • 1 year of Related Experience of similar experience and a consistent work history in a like setting.
  • Must have reliable means of transportation
