Accounts Receivable

Description

We are a medium-sized Commercial/Residential Landscape Supply, Land Clearing, and Container Rental company with three retail yard locations and a fleet of 50 commercial dump trucks and trailers. We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Full-Time Account Receivable to join our team at our main office in Mill Creek.

Work Hours:

Monday-Friday 8:30am-4:30pm, with a 1/2 hour lunch. 

Key Responsibilities

• Review and approve customer credit applications.
• Prepare customer invoices from daily work tickets.
• Communicate daily with managers regarding quoted projects and proper ticketing for invoicing.
• Enter payment receipts, process credit card and electronic payments, and apply to open invoices.
• Run monthly statements and generate sales reports for managers.
• Work directly with customers on account management and collection of past-due invoices.
• Assist with accounts receivable duties as assigned.
• Handle job contracts, proposals, quotes, and agreements.
• Facilitate lien and release processes for projects.
• Prepare daily bank deposits.
• Manage windshield claims.

Requirements

 Requirements

• Proficient in QuickBooks Enterprise, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• 2+ years of bookkeeping experience.
• Associate degree in accounting or similar field preferred.
• Experience in the construction industry is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Positive, team-oriented attitude with a willingness to help wherever needed in a small office setting.
