Reports To:   Director of Finance

Position Summary

The Business Systems Analyst plays a key role in driving operational efficiency and system optimization across both U.S. sites. This position supports ERP system users, leads process improvement initiatives, and ensures alignment between business objectives and technology solutions. The analyst collaborates with cross-functional teams to implement best practices, manage change, and enhance user experience (UX) within the Plex ERP environment.

Business Process & ERP Optimization

• Lead business process reviews and develop optimization strategies.
• Collaborate with teams to improve operational workflows and drive key initiatives.
• Research, test, and implement ERP system changes to enhance business performance.
• Determine optimized ERP configurations with users and managers.
• Apply industry best practices to improve company efficiency through ERP.

ERP System Support & Configuration

• Provide technical and analytical support for ERP systems across U.S. sites.
• Configure and customize Plex ERP screens, roles, and navigation for UX implementation.
• Activate new ERP modules and standardize processes.
• Respond to ERP system user requests via a ticketing system.
• Monitor and resolve critical business issues and risks proactively.

Training & Change Management

• Deliver user training and support for ERP system usage and navigation.
• Manage change during implementation of new ERP products or modules.
• Develop and maintain documentation, performance metrics, and configuration strategies.

Security & Compliance

• Ensure systems and processes are secure and aligned with business goals.
• Monitor the effectiveness of security controls and adjust as necessary.

Additional Duties

• Participate in problem-solving workshops and special projects.
• Undertake other duties as assigned.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
• Timely and accurate resolution of ERP system issues.
• Delivery of optimized business processes and ERP configurations.
• High internal/external customer satisfaction.
• Commitment to confidentiality and data integrity.

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in ERP systems, preferably Plex.
• Expertise in Plex modules: sales, purchasing, planning, and shipping.
• Proven success in Plex ERP standardization and UX migration projects.
• Experience in manufacturing business processes.
• Strong understanding of integrated systems and large data sets.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Willingness to travel locally.

• Professional and manufacturing settings.
• Exposure to moving mechanical parts and moderate noise levels.
• Use of standard office equipment.

• Prolonged periods of sitting and computer use.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to access and navigate various departments and facilities.

• Full-time position.
• Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
• Extended hours and occasional weekend work may be required.

• Local travel to various worksites is required.
