Assistant Property Manager (76-199 units SPLIT)-Millers Rest

Description

We are looking for a strong team player to join our team. As the Assistant Property Manager, you are responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of the community under the direction of the Property Manager. The Assistant Property Manager is able to assume responsibility for the community in the Property Manager’s absence. 

Duties/Responsibilities: 

    Site management support

    Comply with established management policies and procedures for maximum operational efficiency.

    Sales and leasing activity

    Ensure that rents are collected and deposited in a timely manner to minimize budgetary/administrative problems

    Review and follow up on all resident applications.

    Site administration

    Perform effectively to maximize occupancy rates, minimize vacancy loss and minimize rental loss

    Demonstrate knowledge of and comply with or enforce lease agreements and governmental requirements

    Resident relations

    Attend to resident requests and/or emergency needs in an expedient and cordial manner

    Other duties as assigned

Requirements

Required Skills/Abilities:

    High School Diploma or equivalent

    RAM Certification preferred

    Good human relations skills to deal with residents, peers and supervisors

     Ability to exercise good judgment and self-control

    Enthusiasm, good attitude, trustworthiness, personal integrity and honesty

    The ability to work on your own without continual supervision and guidance. Must have initiative

    Knowledge of Tax Credit, Microsoft Office applications, OneSite or ability to learn these programs

Bending, kneeling, stretching, climbing stairs and ladders, squatting, and lifting up to fifteen (15) pounds, running and lifting over fifteen (15) pounds occasionally
