Description
Swickard Automotive Group is a premier dealership group known for their excellence in customer service and employee satisfaction. Our Land Rover San Francisco location is seeking a dedicated Shop Foreman to lead our skilled team of technicians.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the service department, ensuring efficiency and quality.
- Provide leadership and guidance to technicians, fostering a collaborative environment.
- Ensure all repairs and maintenance are performed to Land Rover standards.
- Coordinate with service advisors to meet customer expectations and service deadlines.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workshop.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an automotive technician, with a focus on Land Rover vehicles.
- Proven leadership experience in a dealership or automotive service setting.
- Strong diagnostic skills and proficiency with Land Rover diagnostic tools.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
- Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.

Physical Requirements
- Lifting and Carrying: Frequently lifting and/or moving objects up to 10 pounds, and occasionally lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds (or even up to 100 pounds in some cases, especially in heavy equipment shops). This can involve parts, tools, and equipment.
- Standing and Walking: Regularly required to stand and walk for extended periods, as they move around the shop, inspect vehicles, and interact with technicians.
- Reaching, Bending, Stooping, Kneeling, Crouching, Crawling: These movements are frequent as they inspect vehicles from various angles, work on components, and retrieve tools.
- Dexterity and Hand-Eye Coordination: Proficient use of hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls. This is crucial for working with intricate parts and operating diagnostic equipment.
- Climbing and Balancing: Occasionally required to climb or balance, such as when accessing different parts of a vehicle or using ladders.
