Business Consultant

Description

The Business Consultant is responsible for providing strategic consulting services to our customers. This role works directly with clients who are exploring entering the logistics and transportation space, guiding them through the entire journey of owning and operating a route-based business. 

Requirements

• Serve as our clients’ go-to resource and advocate, guiding them through purchasing and operating a route-based business
• Deliver real-world knowledge about the logistics and transportation industry, including operational best practices, compliance requirements, and financial considerations
• Identify sales opportunities for consulting services with new and existing clients
• Address client challenges with strategic solutions and resourceful problem-solving
• Work with internal sales, marketing, and vendor relations teams to ensure seamless client experiences and consistent service delivery
• Track client interactions, milestones, and deal progress using Salesforce 
• Participate in research initiatives, process improvement efforts, and special consulting projects as needed

Knowledge / Skills

• 3+ years of experience in business consulting, logistics operations, route-based businesses, or small business ownership
• Current technology and application knowledge. Salesforce experience strongly preferred

Additional Information

• The ideal candidate understands the nature of our business is not 9-5 and is willing to work extended/flexible hours as needed
• This position will require candidate to primarily work from the office, but some work-from-home flexibility is included
• PTO is flexible once training is complete and performance expectations are being met
