ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Safely operate a forklift to transport rolls from the Extruders to designated storage locations in the warehouse, following all established safety and operating procedures.
  • Verify that each roll is properly labeled before placing it in the storage warehouse and ensure that rolls on floor level are stored on plastic pallets for cleanliness and protection.
  • Monitor and confirm the accuracy of warehouse inventory, including item numbers, lot IDs, and location data, using inventory sheets and following the FIFO methodology to support proper product rotation.

  • Accurately record and track roll movement and usage using PeopleSoft ERP or other designated systems, reporting any discrepancies to the shift supervisor for resolution.
  • Mark off inventory sheets as rolls are moved, verify locations on extruder check sheets, and maintain traceability of roll inventory throughout each shift.
  • Complete and document daily forklift inspections, promptly reporting any equipment issues or safety concerns to maintain proper working order.
  • Participate in shift change handovers by reviewing product/roll assignments with incoming material handlers, ensuring a smooth and accurate transition between shifts.
