Title: Senior Sales Manager
Location: Eaglewood Resort & Spa, Itasca, IL (on-site)

Summary:
As a Senior Sales Manager, you will be responsible for actively identifying opportunities to support & maximize the effectiveness of activities designed to improve sales performance. The senior manager will perform and execute account development, as well as assist sales and marketing in the planning of various marketing opportunities to provide impactful and measurable strategies that achieve Arbor’s Key Performance Indicators.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate a vast understanding of key hospitality industry performance measures by analyzing and identifying performance trends.
- Collaborate with property & corporate leadership team to proactively find opportunities and deploy customized turn around strategies/resources that deliver results.
- Assist with providing reporting and important information for use by property & corporate leadership team on an established cadence to measure effectiveness/impact of strategic support offered to identified markets and hotels.
- Maintain and promote teamwork with effective and clear communication with existing property leaders and sales associate(s).
- Participate in relevant workgroups to share ideas from sales team to influence future portfolio enhancements and offer guidance with operationalizing Arbor initiatives and supporting innovation across the organization.
- Follow and track company cross-sell procedures.
- Evaluate and drive participation in sales channels, market sales, event booking centers, electronic lead channels, etc.
- Utilize various available tools to prospect new group account opportunities.
- Work with the resort team members to build long-term, value-based customer relationships to earn repeat business.
- Exhibit ability to sell complete meeting packages to include convention space, food & beverage, audio-visual, team building activities, and group room inventory.
- Support the operational aspects of business booked (e.g., generating a proposal, writing contract, and customer correspondence).

Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive direct hotel sales experience required
- Must know advanced sales processes as well as leading for results
- Multi-brand sales experience and knowledge required
- Knowledge of advanced sales strategies, yield management, and relationship building/maintenance
- High degree of commercial awareness
- Outstanding business sense and the ability to motivate and win others over (WOO)
- A warm, people-oriented demeanor
- A team-first attitude

Pay is based upon several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
