The Criminal Justice Department is seeking a dedicated and responsible Student Worker to assist with various administrative and academic support tasks. This is an excellent opportunity for a student interested in gaining valuable experience within the department.
Responsibilities:
Assist faculty and staff with general administrative duties.
Review and proofread student assignments for grammar and punctuation errors.
Organize and copy course materials and documents.
Help set up and break down classrooms for lectures and events.
Aid in the preparation of materials and equipment for the forensic science lab.
Perform other duties as assigned by department faculty and staff.
Hiring Priorities:
First Priority: Upper-division Criminal Justice majors with a strong academic record, particularly in their criminal justice coursework.
Second Priority: Students from other majors who have demonstrated high academic achievement in their criminal justice courses.
RequirementsMust be a currently enrolled student.
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
Familiarity with basic office procedures.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication skills.
Punctuality and reliability are essential.
