Tender and Contract Manager

About the Role:

Are you excited about joining a team at the heart of executing our landside transportation growth ambitions with our largest global customers?

As part of the Global Tender and Contract Management team, you will drive the growth of our contract business, with a focus on leveraging our network and delivering volumes beyond a customer’s sales control area. You will develop and execute strategies for a portfolio of Maersk’s top customers, collaborating with stakeholders across Sales, Ocean, and Inland teams, while serving as a key partner in process design and product development. This is a great opportunity to contribute to the growth of Maersk's largest Landside & Services (L&S) product family.

Key Responsibilities:

• Translate local value propositions into global, customer-specific value propositions and present these to internal counterparts and customers

• Drive Intermodal-Carrier Haulage & Intermodal- Multicarrier elements in global customer strategies, and overall Maersk commercial prioritization

• Coordinate across Areas to ensure timely execution of tenders, and winning where we target

• Facilitate trade off discussions between Areas and other products to maximise global Maersk value

• Support the management of signed contracts e.g. contract fulfilment, rate adjustments for multi-year deals

What we are looking for:

• A solid understanding of ocean and/or landside transportation as well as our sales tools and processes

• The ability to understand global perspectives and a level of comfort in managing trade offs

• Ability to develop strong relationships, and the ability to influence and impact without authority. Building partnerships and working collaboratively with multiple stakeholders to meet shared objectives and create company value will be crucial to success in this role

• Someone to navigate both headquarters and frontline organisations, particularly focused on Sales, Landside Transportation and Ocean Products
