Teacher, Dance Instructor (EX) (Current Opportunity) - Cardinal Shehan School, Baltimore MD

The Dance Instructor must have extensive dance experience in ballet/pointe, jazz, and modern/contemporary. They will be responsible for creating innovative choreography, planning performances, and must be committed to creating a welcoming, healthy, and safe learning environment.

Essential Functions

• Oversee the artistic details of the school's dance company.
• Provide instruction in curricular area(s) assigned.
• Teach after school technique classes.
• Choreograph performances.
• Plan and develop annual dance concerts.

Position Qualifications

• BFA/MFA in Dance Education or extensive performance or teaching experience.
• Knowledge/certification preferred in Pilates, PBT, and Dance cross-training.
• Teaching experience through the advanced/pre-professional level.
• Able to choreograph and plan all aspects of annual concerts and performances.

Pay Range: $14,000 - $15,000, Stipend
