Teacher, English Language Arts, Middle School (EX) (Current Opportunity) - St. John Regional Catholic School, Frederick MD

The Middle School ELA (5th & 6th Grade) Teacher would be responsible for the direct supervision and instruction of students. They will follow the curriculum as provided by the principal and will plan, organize, and implement the instructional program in a Catholic environment where every child is recognized as a unique child of God.

Essential Functions

• Actively supervise students at all times  
• Respond to all parent communication in a timely manner  
• Work collaboratively with other teachers, staff, and administration  
• Oversee the instruction of students  
• Follow the daily routine of a teacher and fulfill other duties outside the classroom, such as lunch/recess duty 
• Work collaboratively with other teachers, assistants, staff and administration  
• Interact effectively and respond to communication in a professional, empathetic and timely manner.

Position Qualifications

• Degree in education preferred
• Current MSDE certification preferred
• Knowledge of child development and supervision
• Experience teaching in a school setting

Pay Rate: $45,222.00, Annualized
