We are looking for someone with an understanding of HR processes who is excited to get involved in a generalist position with opportunities for exposure to a wide range of initiatives. You will oversee managing employee processes such as onboarding and offboarding, visa sponsorship, learning and development requests, payroll (collating and presenting information to our Payroll team), supporting ER cases where appropriate and contributing to a variety of other people-focused initiatives.

You’ll be working in a close-knit supportive team of 4, reporting into the People and Culture Manager. We believe in giving you autonomy over the things you look after while always being available for support and collaboration.

Part of your role will also be helping the P&C Manager lead and organise company events to ensure our Culture remains fun, informative and engaging for our people! This includes monthly ‘Pizza & Game’ events, company parties, wellbeing initiatives, and diversity events developed in collaboration with our Inclusion Council to ensure they are meaningful and inclusive for all.

The right candidate will:

  • Enjoy working with and supporting colleagues, is ready to help with queries, and aims to make everyone’s experience at work a positive one
  • Understand the value of office-presence in our roles and commit to 2 days per week in the office with flexibility where needed, including traveling to our Manchester office when needed
  • Be proactive and take initiative – a self-starter with good ideas who also enjoys collaborating and building on the ideas of others.
  • Be comfortable managing multiple tasks at the same time and be able to prioritise accordingly
  • Enjoy the variety the role offers, with plenty of opportunities for different projects and experiences
  • Look at processes and think “How could this be better?”

  • Lead and manage new joiner processes, including onboarding, induction, probation check-ins, right-to-work checks and payroll information. Coordinate with internal teams (IT, Ops, Reception) to ensure new starters have a smooth first day, working closely with the Talent Team and hiring managers to provide welcome information, induction plans and tech equipment.
  • Manage leaver processes, including all necessary arrangements, exit interviews, and reporting on findings.
  • Inform employees of their entitlements during absence (Annual Leave, Family Leave - including maternity, paternity, adoption, etc.).
  • Manage monthly payroll processes, and liaising with our payroll department to ensuring accuracy and timely submission of information.
  • Coordinate training session logistics when needed, support internal training initiatives and track attendance. Oversee the training budget and liaise with team leads for request approval.
