SUMMARY
Assists Supervisor in coordinating cycle count activities of warehouse associates by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Conduct cycle count audits of products to verify conformance to core and small parts inventory.
- Resolve discrepancies in inventory counts by determining the root cause of the errors and communicating corrective actions.
- Communicates adjustments to inventory to Lead and Supervisor.
- Assists with implementing new procedures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product. Also responsible for maintaining a Quality work environment, including good housekeeping (i.e.5S).
- Assists with implementing changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of shop, department, or work crew.
- Assists workers in solving inventory issues.
- Assists in implementing plans to create positive motivation to achieve work goals.
- Performs work assignments of absent employees.
- Assists with completing requisitions (purchasing, maintenance) and inspects accuracy of materials received.
- Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance and quality of product while continuously striving for improvement in all materials processes.
- Assists with training.
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Two (2) to three (3) years experience in automatic transmission repair facility or related experience and/or automatic transmission training from a two year college or technical school; or equivalent combination of training and experience. Computer literate. Will need to become proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and time keeping software.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Must be able to read and understand English.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
