Job Description

Under the guidance of the Talent & Culture Manager and the Director of Talent & Culture, the Recruitment Executive will lead all recruitment activities for Sofitel Dubai The Palm, ensuring adherence to best practices at all times.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing resumes, conducting interviews, issuing contracts, corresponding with applicants, and updating departments on applicant status.
  • Ensure the completion of the onboarding process for all new hires, including visa processing, residence visa applications, ID cards, and bank account setup.
  • Initiate and follow up on processes related to medical testing, Emirates ID, and residence visa applications.
  • Maintain up-to-date job descriptions, organizational charts, and relevant forms, ensuring proper documentation and storage.

Documentation & Compliance

  • Ensure all new hire documents are accurately filed, both electronically and physically.
  • Verify that all new joiners have signed the Code of Ethics and Human Rights Policy, in compliance with Accor standards.
  • Utilize various recruitment tools and platforms such as LinkedIn, external job boards, and recruitment agencies.

Logistics & Coordination

  • Coordinate with the Accommodation Supervisor to allocate rooms and arrange airport pick-up for international arrivals.
  • Share new joiner details with the Hotel Nurse to facilitate insurance application.
  • Conduct Talent & Culture induction sessions for new employees.
  • Conduct interviews and reference checks for Level 1-4 positions.
  • Distribute weekly arrival updates to departments and hiring updates to Department Heads.
  • Maintain and update the recruitment and vacancies notice board.

Engagement & Events

  • Support the planning and coordination of monthly employee engagement activities in collaboration with the Talent & Culture Coordinator.
  • Handle any ad hoc duties as assigned by the Talent & Culture Manager or Director of Talent & Culture.

Occasional Responsibilities

  • Assist in designing creative posters and campaigns for T&C events.
  • Support the execution of monthly employee engagement initiatives.

General Responsibilities

  • Foster strong interdepartmental relationships and teamwork.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a similar HR role within a 5-star hotel is preferred.
  • Post-secondary education required.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills across all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to thrive in a multicultural environment.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
