Business Analyst III- Business Development Operations- Remote Opportunity

As part of the Business Analysis Unit, supports requests for information and analysis for the various FPI Admin groups and practices. Analyzes month end reports and dashboards, and ad hoc reports for trends, points of interest, relationships, or opportunities, and presents the findings of that analysis via summary with supporting reports/data. Performs analysis at the request of FPI Admin or departments and supports departmental analysis. Designs, develops, and produces month end dashboards/reports, and ad hoc reports using BI tools. Synthesizes practice management data from various sources (e.g. RVU, benchmark, transactional) to use in analysis of productivity, revenue cycle performance, process efficiency, cost reduction, and business development; and other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; Master’s degree preferred
• Five to eight years experience in healthcare business analysis
• Experience with EPIC Hyperspace and Cogito Analytics
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and SQL Server Management Studio or equivalent
• Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision

The referenced base salary range represents the low and high end of University of Maryland’s Faculty Physician’s Inc. salary range for this position. Some candidates will not be eligible for the upper end of the salary range.
