Logistics Operator

Essential Job Functions:

•  Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels, perform regular stock checks, and update records to ensure accurate inventory control.
• Receiving and Shipping: Oversee the receipt of incoming shipments, verify accuracy of orders, and ensure timely and accurate shipping of products.
• Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch, ensuring all items are correctly packaged and labeled.
• Warehouse Organization: Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, including proper storage of goods and adherence to safety protocols.
• Coordination: Work closely with other departments, such as procurement and sales, to ensure seamless logistics operations and address any issues that arise.
• Documentation: Complete and maintain all necessary documentation related to inventory, shipments, and warehouse activities.
• Equipment Handling: Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, in a safe and efficient manner. 

 

Other Skills & Abilities:

•  Skills: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Technical Skills: Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and basic computer skills.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move heavy items, stand for extended periods, and operate warehouse machinery.
