Summary Description:

The Enterprise Applications Analyst should be an SAP CO consultant with extensive expertise in Controlling, including Cost Element Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Product Costing and Profitability Analysis. The analyst will engage directly with the Controller Group, Commercial Finance, Forecasting & Planning, Supply Chain Finance, Shared Services, and other business teams to deliver high quality solutions which optimize and enhance the existing SAP system. This role is chiefly responsible for existing solution optimization broadly defined within the categories of production support, business process optimization, and user-enablement. This role has a high-degree of user engagement to develop tools which proactively reduce production support issues while also enhancing the ease with which users adopt system processes.

The role will serve as lead on small to medium enhancement projects, orchestrating solution design, managing deadlines, managing business communication and provides status updates.

This role with research and resolve production support issues, develop functional specifications from business requirements, coordinate development (ABAP&BW), provide technical support, contribute to overall software architecture and process solutions for SAP FI, CO, FSCM & OpenText as an optional advantage. The individual will be responsible for the solution, design, system configuration, testing, documentation and post implementation support.

Duties: 

  • Responsible for solving complex problems; design, configure, test and implement solutions for SAP FI, CO and FSCM. Knowledge of OpenText is an advantage.
  • Analyzes business needs, documents requirements and translates needs into functional, non-functional and/or technical specifications. Performs analysis, and evaluates downstream business, systems, process, and/or organizational impacts.
  • Analyzes the process to be implemented, defines system requirements in terms of system capabilities and configures SAP.
  • Maintains a high level of functional competency regarding standard SAP FI and CO configuration and keeping current on SAP trends & future enhancements.
  • Collaborates with the development team in order to achieve desired end-results on complex problems by delivering scalable business process solutions.
  • Plans and assists with oversight of testing processes and activities including defect identification and resolution.
  • Develops or assists in the development of work plans, time schedules, project task items, and assists with estimating resource needs for analysts, developers, business user personnel, and consultants.
  • Advises business partners on the implications of standard or new SAP solutions that can be applied to a problem.
  • Experience and knowledge in key integration points of FICO with other operations and manufacturing modules.
  • Identifies risks and issues, and seeks approval on complex matters.
  • Documents quality training material for business users.
  • Builds strong relationships with business partners.
  • Exhibits patience and devotes time to understand current state processes and configuration.
  • Provides subject matter expertise and production support to internal business partners on an ongoing basis.
  • Performs all other related duties as assigned.

    Skills/Qualifications:

    • Maintained high level of quality while working under pressure and deadlines.
    • Ability to document new processes and train end-users.
    • Business experience within a Food/Beverage Manufacturing and Distribution environment, highly desired.
    • Analytical ability to synthesize data and report on metrics.
    • Demonstrated ability to communicate both verbally and in writing across all levels of the organization.
    • Ability to assess the impact of new requirements on an existing suite of complex applications.
    • A working knowledge of project management.
    • Strong Excel skills highly desired.
    • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy; strong critical self-review skills.
    • Exhibits a high degree of professionalism.
    • Strong fundamental understanding of project and change management principles in application

    Education and Experience:

    • Minimum of 10 years configuration experience in CO, FI and FSCM. Experience with OpenText is an advantage.
    • Experience in Cost Element Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Product Costing and Profitability Analysis, with knowledge in Margin Analysis being a valuable plus.
    • Experience with FICO integration between all operations and manufacturing modules.
    • 2+ Full life cycle implementations.
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance/Accounting or related field preferred.
    • SAP Certification in FICO for Suite on HANA and/or S4 highly desired.  

    Working Requirements:

    • Home-based with approximately 20% travel
    • Work schedule flexibility to accommodate project deliverables

    Pay Range: $135,450 - $148,995, plus eligibility for performance-based bonuses.
