We are currently seeking a  permanent, part-time Hairstylist to join our Fund Development Team. Based out of our Fenwyck Heights Facility. Reporting to the Fenwyck Heights Facility Manager. We’re searching for a passionate and people-focused hairstylist who will provide services to residents enhancing even more their living experience. 

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES SUMMARY: 

• Washing, cutting, styling and setting hair for Residents and people from the community.

• Responsible for the day to day operation of the salon.

• Responsible for requesting supplies and equipment purchase.

• Responsible for recording of sales.

 

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Alberta Certificate for Hair Dressing is required.
• Must be comfortable working closely with seniors.
• A minimum of three years’ experience working in a Beauty Salon is required.
• Experience in providing hair services to seniors is an asset.

All successful candidates must have, prior to start date:

• A current and clear Criminal Records Check with Vulnerable Sector Check that has been obtained no more than 90 calendar days prior to the hire date.
• A tuberculosis screening that has been completed no more than 12 months prior to the hire date.
