Purchasing Analyst

The Purchasing Analyst  plays a pivotal role on our Dining Operations Team and is responsible for researching and analyzing various products and services essential to supporting the business. These could include, but are not limited to, raw materials, packaging, non-food, and professional services.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Analyze Specialty Market KPI’s and work with the Sr Dir of Specialty Markets to recommend assortment based on performance of categories
• Confidently leverage a broad suite of standard analytics tooling, such as PowerBI for data visualization, and Snowflake for data warehousing, that may require unique or complex integrations across systems.
• Work on projects to identify cost reduction opportunities, analyze cost structures, and contribute to cost savings and avoidance targets.
• Maintain accurate procurement data, generate reports, and provide insights to support decision-making processes
• Perform data analysis using various tools (Excel, Power Bi, etc.)

• Self-motivated, self-starter with the ability to work independently.
• Ability to work on tight deadlines in a fast-paced, team environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an appreciation of and attention to essential details.
• Must be computer proficient (MS Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) with intermediate to advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset, with a willingness to support team objectives and company goals.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

• Legal Age:  18 years
• Education or Equivalent Experience:  Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Professional Experience:
• 2+ years’ relevant analytical experience. 
• Supply chain experience withing the food service industry.
• QSR, Fast Casual and/or Fine Dining experience preferred.
• Travel Requirements:  10% or more
• Software:  Recipe Management Software such as SAP
• Schedule:  May require some nights, weekends, and holidays.
