The ideal candidate will bring strong domain knowledge in healthcare data exchange, experience leading cross-functional teams, and the ability to drive results from discovery through deployment.

You will serve as the voice of the product—translating business needs into technical execution, ensuring alignment across internal and external stakeholders, and monitoring progress across the full product lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for documenting functional & technical requirements, with visuals, across all inbound and outbound prior authorization workflows, Interactive Voice Recording (IVR), AI-enabled clinical documentation review and recommendations, and FHIR-based prior authorization decisions.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Business stakeholders, Engineering and QA, to gather, define, and prioritize product requirements.

• Translate complex regulatory and technical requirements into clear, actionable Feature & User Stories and acceptance criteria.

• Actively monitor daily API performance and errors across FHIR and EDI integrations, triage root causes, and work with engineering teams to resolve issues efficiently.

• Guide sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release planning activities in alignment with agile best practices.

• Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for interoperability use cases, including payload structures, system dependencies, and integration touchpoints.

• Support client onboarding and implementation teams with pre-launch readiness, test case validation, and post-launch stabilization.

• Partner with architects and regulatory teams to stay current with CMS mandates and industry standards.

• Design and maintain a pseudo-dashboard to track integration health by client/trading partner and data transfer type (e.g., authorizations, attachments, status, IVR, AI). This includes monitoring error rates vs. success rates, identifying recurring issues by API endpoint, and providing visibility into system performance to support proactive troubleshooting and decision-making.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar role in healthcare IT.

• Strong understanding of FHIR APIs, HL7, X12 278 EDI transactions

• Familiarity with error-handling workflows and ability to diagnose root causes.

• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in managing competing priorities.

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and using Azure DevOps.
