In this role, you'll:


Our Infrastructure Services Commercial team, within our Procurement branch works with critical vendors to develop long-term relationships to ensure the smooth running of contracted activities and ensure compliance with TfNSW policies and guidelines for contract management.



You will lead the negotiation and agreement of commercial matters in Network and Hosting Technology, including new contracts and contract amendments to deliver value for money and agreed business outcomes for TfNSW.



You will manage changes over the life of the contract, ensure suppliers deliver to the requirements of the contract, and monitor and analyse supplier performance to ensure that goods and services are in line with agreed conditions.



You will establish effective working relationships with the internal organisation to leverage the breadth of expertise in managing strategic supplier contracts.



This temporary position for up to 9 months is available in a hybrid working model which are aligned with our Flexible Working Arrangements procedures which offers hybrid arrangements subject to approvals including having a mix of in-person days in our Macquarie Park, Elizabeth Street and Burwood offices as well as remote working.

About you


You’ll have demonstrated experience in commercial and procurement practices, legislation and activities and demonstrable ability to manage procurement activity from conception through to completion.



You’ll be well-developed commercial procurement planning and analysis skills, with the ability to drive strategic direction across your portfolio.



You will be able to communicate and influence effectively and inspire confidence in clients as they grapple with high profile and often challenging issues.

 

You will have experience developing and maintaining strong collaborative working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
