Contract Management Specialist

Job Summary

To ensure that every contract signed by the SCB TechX contributes to its goals and objectives. To strategize, negotiate, advise management, and supervise the implementation of contracts for optimal efficiency and the business signs beneficial deals for commercial purposes.

Job Responsibilities:

• Supervise contract execution to ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines, internal policies and standards, SCBX legal centralization, internal and external audits, and relevant authorities such as BOT and ETDA ect.
• Draft, review, revise, and negotiate contracts, terms of service, and terms of use, ensuring SCB TechX’s obligations align with company goals and industry regulations.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure clarity of specifications and expectations and work closely with business units to secure favorable financial conditions, resources, and contractual terms for the company, both on the sales and purchasing sides.
• Provide legal advice to relevant business units on matters including labor law, IT, intellectual property, and alternative dispute resolution (ADR), ensuring legal compliance across operations.
• Manage the contract lifecycle and provide up-to-date reports to relevant stakeholders. Resolve contract-related issues with external parties and internal teams.
• Develop and maintain standard contract templates for use with internal and external partners.
• Monitor contract status and take appropriate actions for close-out, extension, or renewal, ensuring decisions align with the company’s best interests. Maintain, update, and improve contractual records.

Background/Experience

• BSc degree in law or business administration.
  
• Over 5-7 years of experience in drafting, negotiating and managing contracts and agreements in technology delivery or IT field (Banking Industry is preferable)
  
• Proficiency in business English in areas such as international trade, commerce, finance, insurance, banking, and many offices settings
  
• Strong research skills and an in-depth understanding of financial analytics and legal agreements.
  
• Attention to detail, thoroughness and mathematical abilities.
  
• Proven working experience as a contract officer/associate preferably in IT/Banking industry
  
• Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques as well as understanding market trends
