For Linklaters Service Delivery Centre Warsaw, we are currently recruiting for IT Project Manager role.
About the Team
As IT Project Manager you will be a key member of the Technology projects team, responsible for the end to end delivery and successful completion of technology projects to bring about positive change for our lawyers, support staff and clients.
You will have a focus on ensuring that projects are delivered effectively and well-embedded in the business, in accordance with best practice and the firm’s project management methodology.
In doing so, you will work closely with our Project Management Office, colleagues in the project management team, other members of the Technology department, business team’s such as Finance, Marketing and HR and our lawyers.
This is a great opportunity for people who have a desire to work in a global organization on high impact projects covering Legal tech, enterprise-wide applications, in-house software development, infrastructure and office move projects.
Key Responsibilities
All aspects of project management and the project management lifecycle
Understand project requirements and align them with objectives,
Establish project organization, lead and develop the project team,
Select and coordinate project suppliers and resources,
Ensure compliance with the firm’s project management processes,
Serve as the primary escalation and resolution point for project risks and issues, escalating further as necessary,
Manage internal and external project resources to ensure performance and adherence to standards,
Review and prepare project documentation, including business cases, project initiation documents (PIDs), and reports,
Oversee project budgets, including expenditure tracking, forecasting, and financial year accounting,
Identify, plan, and implement actions to manage project risks and resolve issues proactively,
Develop realistic project plans that balance quality, budgets, and schedules.
Plan and forecast resource requirements to achieve project objectives,
Manage stakeholder relationships, ensuring inclusion and engagement at all levels,
Demonstrate strong leadership, drive, and adaptability to meet project targets and overcome challenges,
Model a hardworking, supportive, and collaborative approach for the project team.
Apply if you:
Have 3 to 5 years’ experience in end to end project management,
Have experience in running various project related to IT Technology: from software infrastructure, cyber security, AI to implementing new reporting tools,
Hold a PRINCE2 Practitioner qualification or an Association for Project Management (APM) equivalent,
Hold a higher degree, preferably in IT Technology or related field,
Easily communicate in English with stakeholders at all levels,
Have proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint,
Have experience using project or task management tools, such as Azure DevOps or other, to track progress and coordinate team workflows,
Have demonstrable experience with budget control in a project environment,
Have previous experience in cooperating & sourcing 3rd party vendors,
Make clear decisions and confidently guide direction,
Are driven by achieving results and success,
Take strong accountability for personal and team outcomes,
Adapt flexibly to shifting priorities,
Remain calm and effective when working under pressure
Location
Warsaw - hybrid model (two days per week at the office)
Business trip to UK is required from time to time (less than 10%)
