Role Overview

As a Senior Business Development Manager based in Paris, you'll drive new business development across France and French-speaking markets. You'll be strategically hunting for new clients, fostering strong pipelines, and collaborating closely with Account Managers to ensure smooth onboarding and long-term impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect & Close New Business (80%)
    Identify, qualify, and engage new logos or new divisions within existing accounts across brands in verticals like FMCG, Retail, Automotive, Consumer Goods, Finance, and Tech. Own the full sales cycle, including outreach, pitching, negotiating, and contracting.
  • Sales Pipeline & Forecasting (10%)
    Build and manage a strong pipeline using Dynata’s CRM, forecast monthly and quarterly results, and exceed quarterly targets. Become an expert in Dynata’s data solutions to craft customized proposals.
  • Market & Industry Expertise (5%)
    Keep abreast of trends in market research, digital advertising, and data-driven insights. Integrate these trends into pitches and solution positioning.
  • Ensure Handover to Account Managers (5%)
    Once deals are closed, work with the onboarded Account Managers to transfer relationships, ensure delivery and handover of responsibilities, and support a seamless client transition.

What You Bring

  • Experience: 5+ years in B2B sales or business development - ideally within market research, data, media, or consulting.
  • Proven Track Record: Consistently overachieved sales targets and closed strategic deals.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiar with market research, ad measurement, consumer insights or cross-media evaluation.
  • Hunter Mentality: Self‑driven, resilient, creative and proactive in uncovering new business opportunities.
  • Strategic & Analytical: Able to tailor offerings based on client needs, with strong commercial awareness and solution-selling skills.
  • Excellent Communicator: Fluent French and strong English; polished presentation, negotiation, and written skills.
  • Collaborative Approach: Team player who thrives in cross-functional environments - working with research, ops, and account management teams.
