We are seeking a talented individual to join our MMB team at Mercer. This role will be based in Hong Kong. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
We will count on you to:
- Manage the scope, quality, timeliness and budget of client deliverables and take the lead in researching, analyzing, and evaluating benefits plans and programs.
- Monitor benefits utilization and analyze data to recommend improvements & solutions
- Assess client needs and organizational goals related to employee benefits.
- Develop customized flexible benefits plans that align with company culture and budget.
- Update on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices related to employee benefits.
- Review the analysts' compilation of health benefits information from a variety of sources . Handle responses from the carriers and the data in a template (customization depends on client plan types, funding, rate structure, etc.), and review the transparency documents.
- Interact with clients and develop relationships; involved in developing strategies to meet clients' needs, and take on the role of a trusted advisor.
- Develop and maintain personal and working relationships with key client stakeholders to transition into the role of a trusted advisor and facilitate the sharing of advice and information relevant to the client, developing new and expanded business, and gaining client referrals.
What you need to have:
- 7+ years of health & benefits advisory experience (specifically in Health and Life); with minimum of 5 years in health consultancy;
- Solid knowledge on Health & Benefits as well as insurance brokerage experience;
- Capable in data and digtial advisory solutions
- Good team player with excellent interpersonal skills;
- Ability to cultivate client relationship and manage challenging client demands;
- Strong language capabilities in English and Cantonese.
