Objective of the role

We at Ayvens Global Indirect are currently improving our operational model to maximize value creation - leveraging on scale and expertise of preexisting resources in the Societe Generale group and now fully accessible to us. Together with our colleagues from Societe Generale Global Procurement, we have successfully transitioned overlapping sourcing activities to Societe Generale marking a significant step forward. For Ayvens, this deployment represents a key milestone - allowing us to intensify our focus towards maximizing value creation in line with our strategic objectives communicated to the financial markets. Based strategic pillars such as Opex governance, spend visibility, and value creation, reinforcing our role as a strategic partner in driving procurement excellence.

The purpose of the Commodity Manager Global Indirects is:

to actively manage Sourcing for scope under Ayvens’ management (mobility-specific key partnerships + spend below <200k)
co-creating a strategic stakeholder management framework (incl. right data availability) encompassing business leaders & country management process aiming to clearly articulate our demand structure
co-creating a 3rd party expense strategy that proactively identifies cost reduction opportunities for either already global suppliers or local demand to be aggregated across different countries
ensure proper execution of value extraction for projects not sourced by the Ayvens Team

Areas of responsibilities

1. Support Commercial Value Retention strategy

Assist the Global Category Manager in building a right governance frame to ensure all procurement activities (in-house or Societe General Global Procurement led) fulfil stakeholder needs and anchored in multi-year cost trajectory
Ensure strategic stakeholder management for multiple functions across Ayvens
Support Global Category Manager in identifying central and local synergy opportunities through collaboration with countries, stakeholders and Societe Generale Global Procurement.
Provide support & guidance to our 42 country procurement teams

2. Sourcing Execution & Contract Management

Lead sourcing events and manage end-to-end RFx processes for contracts Ayvens-specific agreements
Streamline low-dollar purchases (>200k€)
Negotiate commercial terms and finalize contracts in collaboration with Legal.
Ensure contract coverage, implementation and renewal for all Ayvens-driven purchases in scope.

3. Ensure rock-solid operational foundation

Enforce procurement policy, support PO compliance and ensure usage of all relevant tools
Support ongoing communication to stakeholders ensuring everybody understands the “why” and the “how”
Support articulating a data strategy that identifies key data needed and how the P2P process can generate it

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in business or related field
Minimum 3 years’ experience in indirect sourcing and at least 2 years of experience in strategic sourcing
Familiarity with e-Procurement systems and sourcing tools
Good understanding of contract lifecycle and supplier onboarding processes.
Fluent in English
Initiative: Takes proactive steps in executing sourcing activities and resolving issues.
Detail-oriented with strong follow-through.
Communication: Clearly communicates with suppliers, stakeholders, and internal teams.
